I love how the boyfriend keeps the color and the beauty in our lives with flowers of all kinds. Boys, take note: keep a perma-smile on your girl's face with this weekly gesture of love!

I put together another little frame (this time with original prints from an Australian duo Mitchell & Dent) for Brendan's apartment. I'm hoping to do an entire wall of frames with this concept. Looks like I need to make another trip to the Rose Bowl Flea Market... If anyone wants to come along, let me know. The next one is September 12th!
I want to keep track of my boyfriend's foray into adventurous eats (semi-forced upon him by way of dating me). So this is my first installment of: "Will He Eat It? And Did He Love It?"
A couple nights ago, I brought home some of my favorite Korean bites: kimbap and jjol myun. There's a new L.A. outpost of one of my favorite restaurants in Korea called School Food. It honestly didn't occur to me that squid ink rolls and anchovy-kimchi-tuna rolls just might not appeal to Brendan's tastes.
Will He Eat It?: Yes to the squid ink rolls and the kimchi and tuna rolls and the kimchi cold noodles. No to the anchovy rolls.
Did He Love It?: He sort of liked the kimchi noodles and was indifferent to the squid and tuna rolls, but really didn't like the kimchi rolls.
Overall: We still need to find Brendan's faves from the School Food menu.
Here you will find vivid accounts and delightful eyecandy of my fabulous adventures in and out of LaLa Land as I live life as a surfer, a writer, and a lover of many things (especially food). So please, grab a pot of ginger tea, snuggle into that Frette merino wool throw, and start clicking away -- And fall in love with my wanderlust.
