Floating

I'm back from my trip to San Diego, exhausted and a bit on the grumpy side.  I felt like the trip was pretty unproductive, although I shouldn't forget that the networking I did will serve me well in the future.

The trip did make me realize that I'm floating a bit through life right now, not taking my writing projects very seriously nor my surfing.  I think I'm slacking off a bit because I know law school is going to be a huge drain in the near future.  But I do want to create as much as possible during this period in my life.

So here's to doing more floaters in the water and less floating in life.  (For those who don't surf, the photo above is an example of a "floater.")
